The biggest feature of Quickbooks for me is how easy it is to use. You don’t need to be a Bookkeeper/Accountant to find your way around and do the basics. The single most impressive function for most users is how easy it is to make changes. To fix/alter an entry you simply double click on the entry, make the change and save. We all make mistakes and Quickbooks doesn’t make a big deal out of fixing them.
For more experienced accounts people Quickbooks reporting is incredibly powerful. Functions like Stock, Vat, multicurrency, multi-company are all standard features. Added to that the ability to create reports like Profit and Loss by class with full comparatives make it great for Management Accounts.
